My mission for every website is simplicity and ease of navigation.
I began my interest in web design about fourteen years ago when I saw my youngest son creating websites. I asked him to teach me everything he knew and soon I was creating on my own. When he went off to college, I figured I had better get further training.
A 1973 graduate of Duluth Cathedral High School, Duluth, Minnesota, I attended Bemidji State University and earned a BS degree in Physical Education with minors in Art and Health and Coaching. I was a gymnast at BSU and at the University of North Dakota where I was named MVP in 1978. My husband Scott and I married in 1977. We have 4 children and 11 grandchildren.
I have coached and judged gymnastics for over 40 years (USAG National rating), waitressed, sold antiques, designed our personal homes, coached high school track (high jump), volunteered in my children's schools, substitute taught, quilted and did various crafts while my children were growing up. I am currently on our state's NAWGJ (gymnastics judges) governing board. (WA Co-State Judging Director).
I returned to higher education in 1993 and in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2015 and 2016. I completed a Web Design Certificate at Everett Community College, Everett, WA in 2008 and continue to update my web design skills there. My web sites are listed on my Web Design page.
